SOUND SCRUB — Supisara Burapachaisri

In collaboration with Social Species Studio, Sound Scrub is a part-zine, part-online game that reimagines the traditional Thai children’s game called Riri Khao Saan (รีรีข้าวสาร). It reflects my frustration with the complexity of the Thai language as a native speaker and suggests a playful solution that creates a hybrid language of Englai (English + Thai), where alphabets with similar sounds are used interchangably.
