PIXEL-PIGMENT

Glitches are often classified as unwanted interruptions within workflows. Inspired by an incident of witnessing glitches as a temporal, fleeting visual occurence, yet, by chance, the ability to “control” such an experience through on-screen interactions, what began as a documentation turned into an exploration of digital and printed variations of the documented screen glitches.

The aim of this publication is to experiment with the visual noise created in the process of producing and reproducing digital files as printouts and converting them back to digital files, and repeating this process over time.
